Our Policies

Privacy Policy

Here at Cape Cod Boaters Co-op, we are concerned about keeping your information private. We have two log-in procedures: one to enter the site and another to complete purchases. We also do not store your credit card information on our website; although it is inconvenient, we think that it is more important that your privacy is maintained.

General Policy

Freight Policy

All shipments are to be delivered to your specified delivery site on Cape Cod from our warehouse. Member orders in excess of $25.00 will be delivered free. A $7.50 service charge will be applied to orders under $25.00 delivered on Cape Cod. Order received for delivery not on Cape Cod will be sent by UPS at your expense. Individual items in excess of 75 pounds weight will be drop shipped to your specified delivery site at your expense. Please check your incoming orders carefully at the time of arrival for shipping damage.

You must note any damage or shortage, within 24 hours or on the delivering carrier's delivery receipt. Call CCBC immediately or file your claim directly with that carrier. Third party claims CANNOT be filed by CCBC for you. We are here to assist and advise you if you have a problem.

Some items which are too heavy or too large to be shipped by UPS or by our delivery van, will be shipped by Common Carrier. These items will be shipped "Freight collect" and cannot be refused when attempted. Remember that motor freight can be very expensive. If you refuse delivery of a truck freight order, after it has been shipped, you are still subject to all freight charges.

Shortage or Errors

Please check your shipments as soon after arrival as possible for the correct Manufacturer's Number and quantity of goods. Claims for errors must be made to us within 5 days of receipt of goods.

Special Orders

All Special Orders will require a deposit and will not be accepted for return.

Defective Merchandise

A prior return authorization is required and defective merchandise is subject to factory acceptance before we can issue credit or replacement. Also see Returned Goods.

Returned Goods

Our goal is your satisfaction. If you need to return or exchange merchandise, you must notify us within 30 days of purchase date for a return authorization. No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales invoice, AND must be sent prepaid, or have arrangements agreed for pick up by the CCBC delivery van, in saleable condition, and in the original package. Returned merchandise, except orders that we incorrectly filled, may be subject to a restocking charge of up to 20%.

Responsibility

In this catalog we are including, for your information, much data relating to strength, application and safe working loads. Manufacturers, in whose judgment we have profound faith, have provided this data. However, we do not assume responsibility or liability for the accuracy of any of this information found in this catalog.

Disclaimer of Warranty/Limitation of Remedies

Cape Cod Boaters Co-op and National Boaters Inc. are strictly vendors and a Membership organization. Neither corporation or business is a manufacturer. Cape Cod Boaters Co-op and/or National Boaters Inc, assume no liability for any defects in, or for any use of, the products purchased and no warranty, expressed or implied, is offered by us for such products. All goods sold, and services or partners recommended are as is, without any warranties, express or implied, including warrant of merchantability, except as stated herein. The only warranties of the goods, if any, are those expressly made by the manufacturer or the service provider or partner. The sole and exclusive remedy in the event of any breach of warranty, are (1) a claim for return of the goods and refund of the purchase price or (2) replacement of the defective product. In no event shall Cape Cod Boaters Co-op or National Boaters Inc be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Terms and Conditions

Payment is due, by credit or debit card, upon the confirmation of delivery of purchased merchandise. Payment for services, provided directly by Cape Cod Boaters Co-op or National Boaters Inc., shall be due as designated on invoices and statements. Goods sold by the van shall be by cash, debit or credit card at time of sale.

We encourage the use of the following credit cards by phone, fax or internet- MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

Credit Card Sales

We accept credit and /or debit cards for telephone, fax, internet and mail orders, but for those using Credit or debit cards, the credit card holder's billing and shipping addresses must be provided.

Manufacturer's list prices shown in this catalog are for reference purposes only. Due to pricing changes being beyond our control, we recommend that you call for the current accurate price. All prices are subject to change without notice. Possession of this price list does not constitute a agreement to sell at these prices.
